20 Year Anniversary Blog & Podcast.

As I look back over the last 20 years, I realize how fortunate I am.  Starting a business in 2000 was very different than what an entrepreneur would do today. The internet and our mobile devices have changed our lives in how we operate, communicate and from whom we buy our products from. Lets face it, it is a different world. It is much easier today to have remote partners and staff that create, design and implement successful strategies for customers all over the globe.

I started Our Gift Biz, knowing there was a gap in the gift industry and felt we could be the answer for companies who were looking for a partner to guide them with gift-giving ideas and help structure a plan for doing it well. Many businesses don’t have a process in place, an established budget or know where to begin.

We work with companies to help them design and implement successful Keep-in-Touch strategies to last throughout the customer journey. We have cracked the code on the art and science to great gift-giving. We help our clients establish a high-quality, high-touch service model that matches their culture and safeguards what is unique about their company.

The real jewel about working with Our Gift Biz, is we get to know our clients, their mission, vision and integrate this knowledge into building a program that works for them. Nestled in each creation are a lot of love, attention to detail, element of surprise allowing them to engage and fuel their business with a White Glove approach. I am known as the Gift Whisperer. Along with my staff, we learn the motives, needs and desires of each client while educating them on gifts worth giving.

Americans have faced many battles over the last two decades, like 9-11, the financial crisis of 2007–2008, and now the pandemic; to name only a few. It has been a challenge for many business owners to survive, grow, and succeed. I have learned that being an entrepreneur takes guts. We have to stay open to changes, shifts in our businesses and be willing to improvise and adapt. Often trial and error determine the next steps and best practices in overcoming challenging obstacles. Maintaining hyper-focus on the long haul is critical to survival of an establishment.

I wanted to create a business that made a difference to those people most important to a business owner, where human connectivity is the real key to success. We offer a more agile and responsive solution than on-line decision-making purchases allow. Our success is offering classic quality design, impeccable service and continually searching for award-winning gourmet products and gift collections to WOW the recipient. A real win-win happens when tugging on heartstrings, memories and emotions occur; lasting creations where clients come back again and again. Our Gift Biz, is my passion and I am so grateful to have great staff, partners, and clients to work with who fuel and encourage me each day. They are a big part of my joyful life! So much to celebrate!!!
